Mark Twain’s time in Nevada was fast, furious, and left a lasting impact. The region and Twain were changed forever and the dust he kicked up has never quite settled. To carry on with what Mark Twain loved most about Nevada—the characters, the excitement, and the spirit of the west—we invite you to the Mark Twain Days Festival in Downtown Carson City. Discover yourself like Samuel Clemens did when he left Missouri to find his true identity in Nevada with art, music, treasure hunt, a Picon Punch Off competition, the Twain Train, outdoor vendor fair, family activities and so much more.

Even with all the amazing small businesses that currently populate our downtown area, we noticed that it was lacking something that our neighboring cities and towns have: A bookstore!

Our vision for our business is more than “just” a bookstore. We want to provide and create a space where you can not only buy new books for yourself or others, but also be a place where you’re welcome to simply exist.

We welcome you to come in and relax.

Read a book. Write that novel you’ve always wanted to start. Sketch a stranger. Or simply just sit and hangout with us.

We want our bookstore to feel like it is as much yours, as it is ours, because we couldn’t exist without you!
