Addison Agen is an Indie-Folk singer-songwriter best known as Season 13’s first runner up on NBC’s The Voice. Based out of Nashville, Tennessee, the 22-year-old’s powerful and heart-wrenching voice welcomes listeners of all kinds to be grateful and self-reflective. Addison has shared the stage with artists such as Bob Seger, The Band Joseph, Gordon Lightfoot, Brandy Clark, Liz Longley and May Erlewine while performing at top venues/events including The Winter Jam Tour, The Philadelphia Folk Festival, Nashville’s Famous Bluebird Cafe, The Ark and Caffe Lena. Her music is woven together with themes of nostalgia, acceptance, and hopefulness. Addison’s debut full-length album, “When The Morning Comes”, is available on all major streaming platforms.

Whitney Myer burst onto the scene in by wowing Christina Aguilera, Adam Levine, Cee Lo Green, and Blake Shelton on Season 2 of NBC’s The Voice. Her show stopping rendition of Alicia Keys “No One” turned the chairs of all four judges. A nexus of RnB, hip-pop and Rock n Roll, Whitney Myer’s soulful vocals and electrifying live performances have mesmerized audiences, earning her featured appearances at Lightning in a Bottle, SXSW as well as performing for artists like Alanis Morressette and Stevie Wonder.

For the Song has been established to provide support for nationally touring and critically acclaimed artists that are yet to be recognized by the mainstream. The music business model for lesser-known musicians has been severely impacted by streaming, making touring the only realistic revenue source. Radius clauses and tight margins at traditional venues means Northern Nevada often misses out on extraordinary talent. For the Song Patrons fund private and public shows which support culture offerings local audiences and promising opportunities to traveling artists.
