We expect fear when we’re facing something risky or dangerous—but what about when we’re offered something amazing? A promotion, a dream home, a relationship we’ve always wanted? Sometimes, even saying yes to the good things can feel terrifying.
Former TV producer Anita Pepper will share her experience with how exciting opportunities can trigger fear and reflect on how to move forward—what worked, what didn’t, and what she learned from it.
Anyone who has felt that rush of fear after saying ‘yes,’ even when they knew it was a great opportunity, will relate.
The purpose of Connections is bringing people together to share stories, engage in conversation, and learn how to strengthen and build meaningful relationships that bring more joy to ourselves and to others.
Every third Thursday of the month, community members from all walks of life and all ages gather for an hour of sharing, learning, and benefitting from the experiences of one another.
