In celebration of Asian American & Pacific Islander (AAPI) Heritage Month, Madelyn Postman, a Reno native, is joining us from London to talk about her debut book, Staring into the Sun. The collection links memoir and true stories about her Chinese American family. Spanning 1895-2015, look out for a millionaire, a magician, and a model. Madelyn will share “The Three I Kept and the Three I Cut” about her research and writing process, followed by a reading and Q&A. You will then be able to buy the book and have it signed.
