From international tours and Grammy nominations to a surprise lockdown in their family home — the Tin Drum Family Band was born out of a moment no one saw coming. When Covid struck, music legends Burleigh Sr., Mary Harris, and their children Sierra and Burleigh Jr. unexpectedly found themselves under one roof for over two years. What started as a family wedding turned into the creation of something profound: a band, an album, and a legacy.
Out of love, loss, and deep connection came “Emerson Street” — an album filled with heart, harmony, and healing, named after the home that held it all together. ❤️🏡🎶

🪘 Burleigh Drummond Sr.A founding member of Ambrosia (5 Grammy noms, 5 Top Ten singles), Burleigh has toured, recorded, and produced with artists like Alan Parsons, Michael McDonald, Edgar Winter, Al Stewart, Firefall, Player, and more. He’s a master drummer, composer, and engineer — but his favorite gig? Playing with his wife, daughter, and son in Tin Drum Family Band. 🥁🎤
🎹 Mary HarrisA powerhouse vocalist, arranger, and keyboardist, Mary has lent her talents to Pink Floyd, Jimmy Buffett, Carole King, Michael McDonald, Animal Logic (with Stewart Copeland and Stanley Clarke), and many more. As co-creator of Tin Drum (with three albums under their belt), she’s also helped shape generations of young musicians — including her own kids. 💫🎹
🎙️ Sierra R. DrummondSinger-songwriter, multi-instrumentalist, and lyrical soul. With influences like Tracy Chapman, Bonnie Raitt, Lauryn Hill, and her own musical parents, Sierra blends indie folk, R&B, and blues into an authentic, emotional sound. After a long recovery from a vocal injury, she’s back — and her voice has never been stronger. 🧡🎸🎤
🌍 Burleigh M. Drummond Jr.A globally inspired drummer, multi-instrumentalist, and producer, Burleigh Jr. brings rhythm from around the world — India, Africa, Latin America — to the front porch of American roots music. He’s toured, recorded, and studied extensively, but his most meaningful work comes from collaborating with his family and sharing music that connects us all. 🥁🌎🎶
